Baliwag Lechon at SM Sta Mesa

SM Sta Mesa is just walking distance from my place. If I' m bored in my home, I go there and do the shopping.

In this place, I always take my lunch and dinner. I' m such a lazy guy to cook my own food. Practically speaking, since I'm just alone in my apt. I'd rather than to buy food. I get more saving on it.

SM malls are also wifi zone. Yon can access the Internet using mobile phone, tablet, ipad, among others. Everywhere I go, I'm can still updated on my social networking sites using SMs wifi.

One of my favorite place is the food court. There are lots of food stalls offers wide array of cuisines specially the Pinoy dishes. Most of the time I prefer my food in Baliwag Lechon. They have combos meals ranging from 90-200. I like the taste of their grilled chicken and liempo. It's very tender and delicious.

You might see me in the corner wearing tank top and shirt while taking my lunch or dinner. See you there!

John Lloyd Cruz is the new face of Swatch

I'm shopping around in Greenbelt 1 and 4 when I saw the life size figure of John Lloyd Cruz in Swatch store. I'm not aware he's the current endorser of this watch brand.  

John lloyd is really a good looking man not only in  on screen but also in person. His humble face and appealing personality to the mass that' why he's so popular in the country.  I think he's one of the in demand artists who endorses a lot of brands just like the swatch.

Can you name other brands that he's endorsing?

Surplus to open brand new store in SM Megamall

Fashion and clothing brand Surplus will soon to open a brand new store in SM Megamall.

The new store will still be at the second level of the mall near the SM supermarket. The new store is bigger and wider, offering wide array of fashionable apparel from men's, women's, Tweens, kids, among others.

Don't forget to mark your calendar. Surplus store in SM Megamall will be opened this August.

Tambayan at Starbucks 6750

One of the best tambayan where I usually stay in Makati is the famous Starbucks 6750.

Most of you know  I'm a hardcore drinking of Cafe Americano.   I love this coffee so much. Actually one of the reasons I drink Cafe Americano is for me to stay awake and active. I' m a busy person. Naks! I'm employee at night and blogger in the morning. So sometimes I really used a lot of my energy that made me sleepy.  I don't want to waste any seconds of my time (at gumaganun pa lols).

And If I just want to feel chillax and to be refreshed, I buy the coffee jelly. 

There are some of the events I need to attend. Most of the PRs are my friends and I can't say NO to them. I love attending events. This is really part of my life.

Anyway back to the Starbucks 6750, the place is really good. It's big and very clean. I like also the ambience because it's very relaxing. The chairs and tables are properly arranged. The staffs are so accommodating.

One of the best thing why people like to stay in this coffee house is because you can charge your devices for free. They have a lot of outlets the can supply energy to your dead mobile phones, iPad, tablet, among others.

This place is  also the best for simple meetings, meet -up and others. Smoking is also allowed outside the coffee store.

Starbucks 6750 is located beside the Makati Shangrila and just walking distance from Glorietta 5. Maybe one of these days, you might see me reading magazine or playing my tablet and iPod. See you there!

MediCard opens clinic in Centris

I' m now here at the  MediCard clinic In Centris, Quezon City. It is formerly located beside the Sogo Hotel, walking distance from MRT North and Trinoma Mall.

I'm not sick but I'm here for dental cleaning and to have consultation about my skin allergy that I' m fighting an for almost three weeks from now.

That's ok if you will "asar" me I have "balat kalabaw" kso hindi eh. According to my doctor I have hypersensitivity..gosh sakit ng mayayaman. No! No! No! "Ayoko ng maraming bawal. Ang Sarap kaya kumain lalo ng seafoods. " hehe

Anyway back to MediCard, I got this health benefits from my company. I don't how much is the credit limit of my card  pero wala akong balak ubusin yun..Ang hirap kaya magkasakit.

I like the new clinic of MediCard. It's big and clean. The structure looks elegant. It has second floor where you can find another waiting area. The ambiance is not boring and the chairs are very colorful.

Just to remind you again guys, MediCard near in Trinoma is already closed. Their new clinic is now in Centris , walking distance from the MRT Quezon Avenue and Eton Mall. It is on the ground level on the third building .

If you don't have any health plan, you should apply now. There are lots of benefits that you get on this plan. You can also get big discounts on some medical procedures. Always think Health is Wealth.

Mogao opens store in Farmers Cubao

Everytime I will ride on a MRT, I should pass by malls like Gateway and Farmers. There are lots of fashion and clothing brands enticing people to drop by and to shop with their apparel. One of the stores is the newly opened Mogao in Farmers Cubao.

Mogao offers affordable yet fashionable clothes for men, women, tween and kids. They have also bags, shoes, accessories, among others.

Most of the styles of their clothes are hip, funky and trendy. I must say they are Korean style with the twist of Chinese and Thai style.

If you're looking for not so expensive coat, long sleeves polo and jacket, this is the place to be.

The stores that I visited were Mogao in Tutuban and EDSA Mall (connected  with MRT Shaw).

So if you have time, visit the nearest Mogao store and check our their apparel.

R Space Events in Makati

While waiting for the Bella's launching event to be started, let me tell you what I'm seeing right now inside the R Space Events.

How to get to R Space Events

From EDSA, take to Gil Puyat Route, then take to Makati Ave. After that take the Jupiter Ave. just follow the road and you will see a signage of Nicanor Ave. in the right side. Just take that road and you will reach the R Space Events. The sign that you are near in the place are if you these establishments like KISH, SPI Global and SM Residences.

Anyway, R Space really looks elegant. It has lounging area for the visitors while they are waiting. The space are not restricted. The walls are painted with white color.

If you want some drinks, R Space has mini bar that offers different juices and cocktails. I also like the choice of sounds- very hip and trendy.

Over all I like this R Space Events. It is not loud to my eyes.  It's constructed elegantly. The place is really good for events like party, product launching, wedding reception, among others.

Playing badminton in Power and Speed

Here I'm again. While waiting for my turn, let me share you where I usually play badminton. I'm here now at Power and Speed, located in Road 20, Mindanao Avenue in Quezon City. I've been playing here for more than 2 years together with the P20 group.

Power and Speed has 5 tara courts. It has small store near the entrance selling shuttlecock, socks, shirts, among others. At the back of the court, you will find a mini sari sari store selling goodies.

What I like this court, it has unlimited purified water which is free for every badminton players.

The court fee is P190/hour from 3PM to 12MN during weekdays and P190/hour from 6AM to12MN during weekends. They have also queuing on Monday,Wednesday and Friday from 8PM to 12MN..

The negative side of Power and Speed, the outer part of each courts are very restricted. The parking is not spacious.

Overall, I love Power and Speed. This is my home court. This is also the place where the friendship of my badminton peeps started.

Playing badminton in Centro Atletico

One of my sports is badminton. Every Tuesday and Saturday I play in Power and Speed in Road 20, Mindanao Avenue. I think it's more than 3 years I'm playing badminton but not that consistent, which means I play but sometimes it's not (ang gulo ko lols). 

Due to my working sched, instead in playing in Power and Speed, I'm playing right now in Centro Atletico, located in Cubao, Quezon City. My house is just near in Cubao, about 30- 40 mins away from my home. I have also friends who consistently playing badminton every Sat. here in Centro. They have queuing from 7pm till 12 midnight (mga adik lng sa badminton LOL).

Every weekends, you can play unlimited here for P125. I'm not really sure how much is the court fee every weekdays.

The court has store that sell badminton apparel like racket, shuttlecock, bag, among others. It has also an air conditioned comfort room.

Other than badminton, you can also enjoy their wall climbing.

I'm using yonex armotec 30 for my racket, and still a yonex brand for my shoes and bag.

Playing badminton is one the best exercise. Each part of the body are really moving. I really sweat a lot after the game. It's really my stress reliever.

I really recommend this sport. If you want to lose weight quick, this is the best sport to you. So start a healthy living by playing badminton.

Loving the Pizza at Friuli Trattoria Maginhawa

Filipino cuisine cannot be compared to other international dishes when it comes to taste. We have delicacies that's uniquely our very own.  One of my favorite Pinoy dishes is the Adobo. I'm sure you also love it. But sometimes we tried other food like pizza.

Speaking of pizza, have you tried the pizza house in Maginhawa Street in UP Diliman? You should try it guys! Their pizza are very delicous. What I suggest to you guys to order this pizza with lots of tomatoes. I' m sorry guys I forgot the name of the pizza. Anyway, you would definitely love the taste not only the pie but also the tomatoes. It's very sweet. 

Other than the pizza with tomatoes, you can also try the chicken flavor pizza. 

Friuli is also serving pasta like tuna carbonara, puttanesca spaghetti, among others.

The price of their pizza is P235 which is good for 4-6 people while the pasta is P120 which is good for two persons. 

So after school or work, head over to Friuli resto in Maginhawa street, UP in Quezon City and try their sumptuous  pizza and pasta. This is really highly recommended!
